Learn-to-Swim (6 levels)—Learn-to-Swim consists of six comprehensive levels that teach people of varying ages and abilities how to swim skillfully and safely. Each level includes training in basic water safety. All aquatic and safety skills are taught in a logical progression. The objective is to teach people to swim and to be safe in, on and around the water. The six levels include:
o Level 1: Introduction to Water Skills
o Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills
o Level 3: Stroke Development
o Level 4: Stroke Improvement
o Level 5: Stroke Refinement
o Level 6: Swimming and Skill Proficiency
o Parent and Child Aquatics: Birth-4 years
**These are the skill checkoff lists the instructors use in order to pass that specific level. Use these as a guide to determine where your child will be safe and successful.

If you’re looking for exercise that improves heart and lung capacity, but is gentle on your joints, swimming is a top choice. Like other aerobic exercise such as running, it can improve cardiovascular fitness as well as cholesterol levels, provided you swim at a brisk pace. We would like to offer a time slot at the pool to give adults 18+ years or older to swim laps at their own leisure. We ask that no kids are on deck so that our guards can monitor just the pool.
